STRATEGIC GOALS

Organisation

In line with our values “Learn. Create. Inspire.”, we continue to develop as an IMC team and organisation, creating a dynamic, inspiring and sustainable environment. We actively communicate our successes and innovations to specific target groups. Short decision-making pathways, efficient processes and consistent project implementation are key factors in our success.

Entrepreneurial thinking is characterised by clear responsibilities, resource efficiency and freedom to make decisions. New solutions and continuous improvements are developed and implemented in an open culture of experimentation.

Over the next 10 years, we will move towards becoming a climate-neutral university and aim to win two prestigious national awards: the Diversitas and TRIGOS prizes.

Goal 7: Attractive employer and innovative working environment

In a culture of openness and mutual appreciation, the IMC team unleashes its full potential and achieves excellent results. We respond flexibly to changing conditions and see transformation as an opportunity.

Every single one of us takes responsibility and actively shapes the future of IMC Krems.

Clearly defined career paths and a performance-based bonus system encourage above-average commitment. Academic exchange and the further development of the content offered by the institutes are to be strengthened through the professional and personal development of existing team members and young scientists, as well as through targeted recruitment in the long term.

Through measures for personal development, health promotion and work-life balance, we create a modern and rewarding research, teaching and working environment in a framework characterised by diversity and equal opportunities.

Goal 8: Entrepreneurial action in all areas

We use our time and financial resources efficiently and in a goal-oriented manner in all processes. Clearly defined areas of responsibility promote decision-makers who act holistically in the spirit of an entrepreneurial university.

To strengthen our competitiveness, best practices are continuously evaluated both within and outside the university, and targeted measures for further development are implemented in the respective areas of responsibility.

We leverage the advantages of artificial intelligence, digitise processes and rely on new technologies and methods. As a learning organisation, we value and encourage experimentation in order to actively shape change.

Goal 9: Economic, ecological and social sustainability

We are committed to the Sustainable Development Goals as a guiding principle for society and align our actions in teaching, research and organisation accordingly. To this end, we focus on individual SDGs and make our contribution visible.

We consider it our task to empower students to consciously fulfil their social responsibility in line with the SDGs.

Our goal is to consistently pursue economic, ecological and social sustainability and to make a tangible contribution to the well-being of society through our teaching and research.
